The Tools And Techniques are simple and easy

Some of the tools in the workshop programme are based on the MBSR mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)

created by  Jon Kabat-Zinn.

The various tools and techniques are easy to learn and practice regularly at home by anyone. 
 
  • It gives people the opportunity to work on themselves: to improve their mental health and overall feel happier in themselves.
  • For some people it provides an alternative to depending on antidepressants, which can have many adverse side effects.
  • It is recognised more widely now as a psychotherapeutic intervention. 
  • Relapse rates of stress and depression are halved after a short training programme like this of Mindfulness.

Suzy’s mindfulness course has been beneficial to me in many ways. I have learnt lots of different techniques which can help improve day to day life. It has helped me to re- focus the mind when I’ve been in stressful work situations and put certain feelings, or perceived feelings and thoughts into perspective and allowing me to concentrate on the task at hand. The Course has been amazing in helping me understand I am in control of my thoughts and in turn, have the ability to take charge of my feelings.
