The Tools And Techniques are simple and easy
Some of the tools in the workshop programme are based on the MBSR mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)
created by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
- It gives people the opportunity to work on themselves: to improve their mental health and overall feel happier in themselves.
- For some people it provides an alternative to depending on antidepressants, which can have many adverse side effects.
- It is recognised more widely now as a psychotherapeutic intervention.
- Relapse rates of stress and depression are halved after a short training programme like this of Mindfulness.

Suzy’s mindfulness course has been beneficial to me in many ways. I have learnt lots of different techniques which can help improve day to day life. The Course has been amazing in helping me understand I am in control of my thoughts and in turn, have the ability to take charge of my feelings. I was able to explore alternative perspectives on my responses to myself and others and use breathing and writing techniques to calm and focus my mind.
