Demystifying Mindfulness
Mindfulness is often misunderstood. One of the biggest myths is that it’s simply about meditation, relaxation or a spiritual practice. Meditation is one of the tools to help cultivate mindfulness. However, the teaching and practice of mindfulness can play a huge part in helping us enjoy a more holistic state of wellbeing. Holistic wellbeing is a concept that encompasses all aspects of an individual’s life, including physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. It is linked to happiness and life satisfaction. Mindfulness can greatly support us to do this. It teaches us how to accept all experiences, including the challenging ones and to balance and regulate our thoughts and emotions.
It is taught in a gentle, kind and nurturing way so that we learn how to become less judgemental and more compassion in ourselves. It requires regular guidance and practice so that it becomes a natural way for us to live our lives, worrying less about our past or the future and enjoying what we have in our lives now.

Each Week you will learn different Mindfulness Tools. Each week you will notice a change in yourself as you deepen your practice.

The mindfulness course has been absolutely wonderful! It has taught me some fantastic new skills and strategies. Suzy is extremely skilled at supporting others to build on their strengths. Since attending Suzy’s mindfulness workshops, I’ve learned a great deal about myself, and am now more able to control the thoughts in my head, take time out and relax. Suzy has taught me some invaluable techniques to cope with anxiety and stress which I incorporate into my daily routine, and regular attendance at the classes helps to reinforce the learning.
