A Life Coach to Help You Discover your Self-Belief

Giving you the confidence to trust your intuition

Why you must trust yourself to make a change

Because if you don’t, who will?

When I was younger, I often found it challenging to assert my own needs. Other people in my life had a way of convincing me that their way was better, more efficient, and beneficial for us all, when really it was mostly beneficial to them.

Later I would realise I was unhappy and dissatisfied, and I’d feel resentful towards the other person (not that I would ever tell them).

When I started therapy, I discovered that the reason why these things repeatedly happened to me was because I avoided confrontation as much as possible.

I did all I could to maintain peace and harmony around me, and not asserting my own needs most certainly achieved that. People liked me for being a people-pleaser and always considering of others. And that was my reward.

Therapy was somewhat challenging for me at the beginning, as I would be reminded time and time again that if I wanted my life to change, I had to put myself first. I must believe that my needs mattered too and that meeting my needs would contribute to my overall state of happiness and wellbeing.

With coaching and support, it was not long before my life changed, and my joy returned.

This’s why it’s now my deepest passion to help others overcome their fear of asserting their own needs and how to do this in an effortless and considerate way.

Getting to know and understand yourself

Working with me begins with this first step

I use different techniques and modalities to help you to really know and understand yourself.

My philosophy

I am committed to delivering results – and expect you to be equally committed to taking responsibility and doing the work to make the changes you want in your life.

We will keep going until we have accomplished your goal, mission, and purpose, and will do whatever it takes to get there.

We seek equality, integrity, respect, and a rebalance of power. We will no longer tolerate bad behaviour or abuse of any kind. We want the freedom that comes with self-belief.

“If you look for the truth outside yourself, it gets further and further away.”

My Experience and Qualifications

Life Coaching

I trained as a Passion Centred Coach and Mentor over 12 years ago in the United States and completed the Corporate and Executive Life Coaching Programme 10 years ago.

I help people identify their primary passions and take incremental steps towards achieving their goals. Passions are different to goals. Passions are your soul’s desires; they are your guide to finding your purpose in life. Goals are your steps to fulfilling them.

Transpersonal Psychotherapy

I trained for three years in London in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and learned so much about how to work with our childhood past. Many of us can get stuck there and never understand why or how we can push through some of our early life traumas. I discovered simple tools to help us overcome them so that they no longer have a hold on us.

Mindfulness

I trained in the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) Mindfulness programme in London seven years ago, although mindfulness has always been very much a part of my yoga training and teaching.

Learning mindfulness techniques in a group setting or on a 1-2-1 basis can greatly help you manage stress, anxiety, manage your emotions more effectively, and become more peaceful and present.

Hypnotherapy

I qualified as a hypnotherapist three years ago and once my clients become fully connected to their passions, hypnotherapy can be a much quicker and more effective way of guiding their sub-conscious mind to manifest them.

It is also an effective way of helping people achieve their goals quickly and permanently.

Yoga Teaching

Becoming a yoga teacher was the biggest change in my life. It helped me to slow down and reconnect with who I was. Meditation and mindfulness were also a part of my yoga training and personal journey. I completed a 500-hour yoga teacher course 18 years ago and I still love teaching some classes.

Occupational Health Nursing Advisor and Training Consultant

My first 18-year career was in the management of health and wellbeing at work, supporting employers and employees to take pro-active measures at work to stay fit, healthy and happier.
