Increasing Self Awareness the Mindful way

Self Awareness is the ability to see ourselves objectively through reflection and introspection. Life offers us challenges that help us o deepen our understanding of ourselves and the impact we have on others. The more curious we are to learn from our experiences in life, the more we are able to change some of our beliefs systems that no longer serve our best good and the our behaviours that have a negative impact on ourselves and others around us. 

Increasing our Self Awareness ultimately brings lasting peace and happiness to our lives. It raises our Self Esteem and empowers us to be who we truly are in the world. Studies have shown that mindfulness training can positively impact self-reflection, self-compassion, and the ability to regulate emotions, contributing to a more integrated sense of self.

Each Week you will learn different Mindfulness Tools. Each week you will notice a change in yourself as you deepen your practice.

Suzy’s mindfulness workshops have been beneficial to me in many ways. I have learnt lots of different techniques which can help improve day to day life. It has helped me to re- focus the mind when I’ve been in stressful work situations and put certain feelings, or perceived feelings and thoughts into perspective and allowing me to concentrate on the task at hand. Also, learning not to judge yourself!

Since attending Suzy’s mindfulness workshops, I’ve learned a great deal about myself, and am now more able to control the thoughts in my head, take time out and relax.  Suzy has taught me some invaluable techniques to cope with anxiety and stress which I incorporate into my daily routine, and regular attendance at the classes helps to reinforce the learning.
