As a qualified Hypnotherapist, I offer Hypnotherapy sessions to my clients to help them achieve a specific goal that they have in mind, something they want to change or move on from. There’s a structure and a purpose to the appointments. In hypnosis you are still fully in control. If you don’t want to do something that is suggested to you, then you just won’t do it. You are always in control and the one making the choices.
A single session is generally not enough to achieve an effective outcome. It is advisable to have a set of 3 weekly consecutive sessions to achieve best results.
Sometimes my clients may need more than 3 sessions if the issue is deeper or if they decide to move on to another area of their life.
When some people think about hypnosis, they think of stage hypnosis shows. These are events people attend knowing that there is a chance that they will be selected to go on stage and be asked to perform comedic acts for the audience. Hypnotherapy sessions are very different from this.
