Autumn Yoga Day

Autumn is such a wonderful time of year to relax and let go of old energy, just as the leaves on the trees naturally do. I am so delighted to be joined by Karuna White to run a Yoga Day, Mini Retreat on Sunday the 3rd October. Karuna has been teaching yoga for over 25 years.
She has a BSc in Human Physiology and is particularly experienced at helping her students alleviate back and neck aches through alignment, good posture and core strengthening.Both Karuna and I have been trained by Ruth White in the discipline of Iyengar Yoga and as such, we focus very much on good correction of our students and this will be will a wonderful opportunity for you to experience this on this Yoga Day.

Yoga and The Power of Letting Go

9.30 – Welcome and Registration

9.45 – 11.00 – Yoga, The Iyengar Way. Static, Deep Stretch Postures

Tea Break (Refreshments provided)

11.15 – 11.45 – Pranayama (Yoga Breathing)

11.45 – 12.30 – The Power of Extension Postures on The Spine

Lunch Break (please bring your own lunch)

13.00 – 13.30 – Mindful Walk 

13.30 – 14.30 – Yin Yoga Seated postures for rest and recuperation

14.30 – 15.00 – Yoga – Strengthening the core 

Tea Break

15.15 – 16.00 – Gentle Flow and Yoga Nidra – Deep Relaxation technique
