Summer Yoga
When we work with nature, we behave as nature does. This keeps us in perfect tune with ourselves. In Winter we store our energy and conserve and build our strength. All that goodness bursts into vibrance in Spring and Summer. The Spring buds have fully opened in summer and we naturally feel like doing the same.
Summer Yoga is all about flow and movement, flexibility and jubilance.
Our Summer Yoga Day schedule reflects this.
The Schedule And Theme
9.30 – Welcome and Registration
9.45 – 11.00 – Floor Postures – Gentle chest opening and back arching
Tea Break (Refreshments provided)
11.15 – 11.45 – Focus on loosening of hips and shoulders
11.45 – 12.30 – Salute To The Sun – Flow Yoga
Lunch Break (please bring your own lunch)
13.00 – 13.30 – Mindful Walk (weather permitting)
13.30 – 14.30 – Summer Breathing Techniques
14.30 – 15.00 – Working on Core strength and strong sitting postures
Tea Break
15.15 – 16.00 Deep Relaxation technique – Yoga Nidra
