Making Choices Mindfully
Every day we make choices, some small and some life-changing. Yet many of those choices are influenced by beliefs we may not even be aware of. Some beliefs support us and help us grow, while others can keep us stuck in familiar patterns, uncertainty, or self-doubt. Through mindfulness, reflection, and gentle enquiry, this course invites you to explore the beliefs that shape your decisions, develop greater self-awareness, and learn how to respond to life’s challenges with clarity, courage, and intention.
Our Beliefs Matter
This 4-week mindfulness course explores how our beliefs shape our experience of life and influence the decisions we make. Through mindfulness practices, reflection, discussion, and gentle enquiry, we will learn to recognise limiting beliefs, develop greater self-awareness, and make choices that are more closely aligned with our values, wellbeing, and authentic selves.
Beneath our thoughts, emotions, and uncertainty often lie beliefs that quietly influence the choices we make every day. Many of those choices are influenced by beliefs we may not even be aware of
Together, we will explore how mindfulness can help us understand ourselves more deeply and respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, wisdom, and intention.

Trapped by the Mind Alone
Like a bird released from its cage, we can only truly soar when we let go of the beliefs that have confined us. In doing so, we discover a freedom, clarity, and sense of possibility unlike anything we have known before.
Many of the limitations we experience are not created by our circumstances, but by the beliefs we hold about ourselves and the world. When we release beliefs that no longer serve us, we create space for greater freedom, choice, and authentic living.
Some beliefs help us grow, trust ourselves, and move forward with confidence. Others may keep us stuck in familiar patterns, self-doubt, fear, or indecision.
What This 4 Week Course Offers :
Session 1 – Exploring Our Choices and Values
What choices do I need to make, and what truly matters to me?
Many of us spend months, or even years, wrestling with decisions that remain unresolved. We may feel stuck between competing options, uncertain about the future, or reluctant to let go of familiar situations.
Mindfulness helps us step back from overthinking and reconnect with what matters most. In this session, we identify the choices currently asking for our attention and explore the values that can help guide us towards greater clarity and authenticity.
Session 2 – Beliefs and Resistance
What is stopping me?
Once we have identified the choices we need to make, it often becomes clear that something is standing in the way.
This session explores the beliefs, fears, assumptions, and patterns that influence our decisions. Many of these operate beneath conscious awareness and can keep us trapped in cycles of indecision, avoidance, or self-doubt.
Session 3 – Acceptance and Letting Go
What needs to be released?
Every meaningful choice requires us to let go of something.
Acceptance does not mean resignation or giving up. It means seeing reality clearly and working with what is, rather than continually struggling against it.
This session explores how acceptance can free us from the exhausting battle with reality and create space for growth and change.
Session 4 – The Courage to Choose
Moving Forward with Clarity and Intention
Mindfulness creates space between awareness and action.
Within that space, we discover the freedom to choose consciously, rather than reacting automatically from fear, habit, or old conditioning.
This final session focuses on transforming insight into meaningful action and taking the next steps with confidence, courage, and self-trust.
