Join us for a Full day of Yoga, Relaxation and Soundbath

at Winchmore Hill, Amersham, Buckinghamshire

A Gentle Day of Rest, Release & Rebalance

This special Summer Yoga Day includes a deeply restorative one-hour sound bath, offering an additional layer of relaxation and integration within the day.

As the fullness of summer begins to soften, this is a natural time to slow down, step out of constant activity, and return to a more balanced and nourishing rhythm.

This day offers you the space to rest deeply, release built-up tension, and gently reset both body and mind. Through a combination of grounding movement, soft heart opening, breathwork, and restorative practices, you will be supported to reconnect with yourself and find a steadier sense of ease and clarity.

Working with the quiet potential of the new moon, this is also a moment to pause, reflect, and create space for what feels important as you move toward the next season.

Why This Time of Year Matters

After months of movement, activity, and outward focus, there comes a point where the body and mind begin to ask for something different: space, rest, and time to process.

We often continue pushing forward, even when we feel tired or unsettled, simply because we are used to staying busy.

This day matters because it offers you the chance to step out of that cycle. To slow down, listen inwardly, and allow both physical and emotional tension to soften and release. In doing so, you begin to return to yourself, with more clarity, steadiness, and ease.

When It Might Be Time to Pause

This day is for you if you feel the need to slow down and take a break from the pace of everyday life.

If you’ve been feeling tired, stretched, or simply aware that you haven’t had much time for yourself, this is an opportunity to pause and reset.

It may also feel right for you if you are looking to reconnect with your body, calm your mind, and return to a steadier, more balanced way of being.

What You Will Leave With :

By the end of the day, you are likely to feel more settled, rested, and at ease in yourself.

As the body softens and the mind becomes quieter, there is often a natural sense of clarity that begins to emerge. You may notice a greater awareness of what you need, along with a renewed sense of balance and steadiness.

This is not about dramatic change, but a gentle return to yourself, with more space, calm, and perspective as you move forward.

Sound Bath Experience with Rebecca Rainsford

As part of the day, you will be guided into a one-hour sound bath led by Rebecca Rainsford.

Before becoming a sound therapist, Rebecca spent 15 years as an actress and musician, performing leading roles in London’s West End and beyond. She later trained with the British Academy of Sound Therapy, deepening her understanding of sound as a powerful therapeutic tool.

The Benefits of Sound Therapy

Sound therapy is a powerful, non-invasive way to support deep relaxation, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

Because our bodies are 60-70% water, sound travels through us beautifully, relaxing, rewiring, and renewing at a cellular level.

Sound therapy can support:

  • Easing stress and anxiety
  • Improving sleep and overall well-being
  • Releasing emotional and physical tension
  • Supporting clarity and inner balance

The Sound Bath Experience

A group sound bath is a deeply immersive experience where you lie down, get comfortable, and let waves of sound wash over you. It works directly with the body and nervous system; for deep relaxation, emotional healing or physical tension.

It is often described as meditation without effort, where you are simply invited to lie back, rest, and receive.

Using instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes, and gentle percussion, the vibrations move through the body, helping to release tension and bring the system into a deeply relaxed, meditative state.

Yoga Day Testimonials

“I felt loved, safe and at home here on this Yoga Day. Suzy knows how to hold the space. She heals as she speaks in her soothing voice. There is so much respect for our bodies and for each other. The day was like one big hug. The word serendipity comes to mind. So many answers to my inner world were revealed simply by being here. Can’t wait for the next one.”

“Suzy is most welcoming and generous with her energy. I feel relaxed and also energised. Suzy is amazing at holding space. What I enjoyed most about the day was finding my stillness and movement again. The pace and level of teaching were perfect, and the venue has a lovely, peaceful energy. We were able to sit out in the garden during our breaks and enjoy good company.
