Harvest Yoga Day

Sunday September 29th

Join us for a Full day of Yoga, Meditation and Relaxation from 9.30am - 4.30pm. Take time out for yourself

The Meaning Of Harvest

The harvesting of crops

In the UK, harvest season for outdoor crops usually begins in late September or early October. The shorter days lead us into a time of introspection, made more special by outward expressions of reflection and gratitude.

Harvest can symbolise bounty, health, and abundance. It can be associated with metaphorical or financial profit.

The harvest season can be a time for reflection  inviting you to reflect on the past year and give thanks for the abundance you have reaped for all the effort you have put in up to this point in the year. You reap what you sow but the reaping comes later. You reap what you sow, but the harvest is always greater. This is the Harvest Principle, a rule of life that can help us understand, appreciate and learn from our past.

The Harvest Yoga Day is therefore all about joining together to celebrate the fruits of our labour. A time of joy and abundance.

Enjoy a full day with like-minded people in a beautiful sanctuary space, giving yourself time to reflect, breathe and relax. Take some time for yourself let go fully and detox your body with the wonderful deep yoga stretches and loosen your body and mind. A perfect time to unwind and prepare your body for the winter months, where you can begin to store up your energy and recuperate gently.
